Ask for tonnage, machining length, axis arrangement and controller to be identified in the proposed equipment schedule. No numerical range is assigned to those fields here. The schedule should also state the configuration used to assess your drawings, so later revisions can be compared against the same work rather than a changing set of assumptions.
Review the CNC programming requirements and the backgauge arrangement together. A requested bend sequence may involve several positioning stages, so the control discussion should refer to those stages explicitly. If your operators require a particular interface or programming method, state that preference and establish what the offered configuration includes.
The workshop plan needs the actual machine dimensions and access information. Include blank arrival, the working position, rear access and removal of completed parts. Request the operating and lubrication information for the selected machine as part of the technical handover. These preparations define what needs to be confirmed without implying an unlisted accessory or service commitment.
