VIM-FS Laser Marking Machine

VIM-FS is a split-design fiber laser marking machine series with the laser source and control unit separated. The published range consists of VIM20FS, VIM30FS, VIM50FS, VIM60FS, VIM70FS and VIM100FS. Their respective powers are 20W, 30W, 50W, 60W, 70W and 100W, with 1080nm wavelength shared across the family.

The physical arrangement should be considered alongside the laser specification. A split design creates a need to define where the separate units will sit and how the workpiece will be presented. Request actual unit dimensions and connection details for that layout rather than assuming an unlimited distance between the marking equipment and its controls.

VIM20FS and VIM30FS specifications

VIM20FS and VIM30FS provide the first two power choices. The remaining models extend the range to 100W, while the table offers Raycus and IPG generator options. Record the proposed source and power together. The same series name can cover different selections, so a complete configuration should identify both rather than only the family designation.

The configuration includes air cooling, a galvo scanner and a field lens. A red dot pointer provides visible positioning, and the control system supports settings, adjustment and real-time monitoring. Show the intended mark location and the position of the controls in the layout so the separate units are discussed as one working arrangement.

Two marking fields are listed: 110*110mm and 200*200mm. The minimum line width field is 10 Microns, and the minimum character dimension is 0.15mm. Keep these optical and detail entries distinct from the overall object size and the finished mark's required appearance; they describe different parts of the selection.

VIM-FS fiber laser marking machine applications

For a workstation with limited room, draw the proposed locations of the source, controls and workpiece support. Include access to load the part and retrieve the finished item. The split structure is useful to discuss through this layout, but a drawing still needs the selected equipment's actual dimensions and connection limitations before it can become an installation plan.

For the marking task itself, supply the material, surface finish, artwork dimensions and mark position. Where several part shapes are involved, identify the positioning reference for each. A common graphic may require different physical setups, so it is useful to distinguish changes in the artwork from changes in how the object is held.

VIM-FS configuration and operation

The listed file formats include bmp, jpg, gif, png, tif, ai, dxf, dst and plt. Use a named format and include its intended scale. If information changes between jobs, explain those changes and review them with the proposed control system. The format list does not by itself identify a particular software brand or data interface.

The usage environment is described as clean and dust-free or dust-less. The source also describes an interlock that stops operation when a safety door or panel opens. Obtain the actual operating and installation information for the split arrangement, including the protective provisions, without treating the component description as certification of the whole workstation.

A laser module life value greater than 100000 hours appears in the table. It remains a module specification, separate from warranty and maintenance terms. For comparison between offers, keep the power model, generator, field, separate-unit arrangement and supplied accessories in one schedule tied to the same set of part drawings.

Product questions

What is separate in the VIM-FS design?

The published configuration separates the laser source and control unit. Their actual dimensions and permitted connection arrangement should be confirmed for the proposed workstation rather than inferred from the split designation.

How do VIM20FS and VIM30FS compare?

Their listed powers are 20W and 30W. Both share the 1080nm wavelength and the series' published field choices, with Raycus and IPG named as source options.

Which marking areas are published?

The specification lists 110*110mm and 200*200mm. Select the proposed field around the artwork dimensions and consider the complete object's support and access requirements separately.

Does 0.15mm specify a number of characters?

No. It is the minimum character dimension in the published table. The actual text, size, surface and required appearance still belong in the marking task description.

What should a split-system enquiry include?

Include the part and artwork, proposed positions of the separate units, available access and requested accessories. Identify the selected power, generator and marking field so the physical and optical choices remain connected.
